Software Engineer - .NET/C#

Software Engineer (.NET / Azure) – Galway (Hybrid)

A well-established engineering and manufacturing organisation based in Galway is looking to hire a Software Engineer to join their growing technology team.

This role is suited to a developer who enjoys working on backend systems, modern cloud infrastructure, and contributing to real-world products used at scale.

The Role

You’ll be involved in the design, development, and maintenance of backend applications, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using C# / .NET

• Work with Microsoft Azure for cloud-based deployment and services

• Contribute to system design, performance, and reliability

• Collaborate with engineers, product, and other stakeholders

• Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement

Requirements

• 2–3 years’ experience as a Software Engineer or similar role

• Strong experience with .NET / C# on the backend

• Hands-on experience with Azure (App Services, Functions, Storage, etc.)

• Understanding of APIs, databases, and backend architecture

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Nice to Have

• Experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environment

• Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD, or infrastructure-as-code
